Dr. Rajan Mahtani has always remained vocal about corruption and unethical practices and is known to expose people or businesses approaching him with illegal or unethical business prospects. At the same time, Dr. Rajan Mahtani is also known to expose fake negative reputation campaigns or news about him in a swift manner. However, Dr. Rajan Mahtani faced significant challenge sometime back when a fake news was rolled out by one of the family member of the Mwanawasa family. This situation was twisted as Dr. Mahtani maintained a transparent personal and professional relation with Levy Mwanawasa, the late Ex-President of Zambia.
Miriam Mwanawasa, daughter of Levy Mwanawasa, recently made a ludicrous claim via social media channels. A Facebook post was shared by Miriam Mwanawasa in which she claimed that Dr. Rajan Mahtani was planning to take over her land at the Masaiti district. After Dr. Mahtani came to known about these rumours, he decided to take action. A press statement was released in which Dr. Mahtani clearly mentioned that he has made no such claims about taking over the said land during his personal relationship with the Zambian ex-President. As such, the allegations made by the Facebook post were discarded as being ludicrous and malicious. Dr. Mahtani also said that he will be taking strict actions against this unethical post.
